2024 was the first year that I had fun with my reading challenge.
I had mentioned several times before on my blog that I am not good at completing themed reading challenges, and while I didn’t complete every category I wanted to this year, I did more than I have before, and I enjoyed myself.
This past year, with the advice from my now husband, I took the categories from my favorite reading challenge, Pick Your Poison, and I made a bingo sheet.
The idea would be that if we completed a bingo that was how many books we could buy at the end of the year.
With this plan, of the 49 themes I selected, I was able to complete 30 of them.
This year, I reduced the number of books from 49 to 36, and I hope to complete a blackout on the board.
If you want to follow along with me, my bingo board is pictured below.

Another challenge I will complete is a nonfiction one. I created it for my husband to complete, and I wanted to share it with you all as well.

As the year progresses, I will provide an update on these challenges as well as book suggestions from my research. Good luck, and happy reading!
