Knocking in Space (Inktober Day 16: Rocket)

People always said be careful of the choices you make when you’re younger.

I never listened.

One night. One night ruined everything.

I trusted him, and he left me running for my life.

I thought escaping to the far corners of the Earth would work,

But it didn’t.

It followed me everywhere.

I soon looked for drastic measures and escaped into the deep recesses of space.

Maybe I’m safe here.

I hear a banging on the rocket doors.

It has found me.
