The Impostor (Inktober Day 25: Buddy)

When machines on the ship started going on the fritz, we were worried, but not overly concerned.

We made sure to implement the buddy system to stay safe, but it wasn’t as effective as we thought.

There was an impostor among us, and it used this distraction to their advantage.

First, the body cut in half in storage.

Then the body mangled in oxygen.

Finally, the body bleeding out next to lights.

Everywhere I went, I kept finding dead crewmates, until I was the only one left.

I couldn’t find a way out, and instead I found myself trapped in a dark hallway.

With my flashlight flickering, I brace myself to face the figure lurking its way toward me.
